ARES Simulated Emergency Test (SET). We'll begin repeater operations just prior to 9:00AM. This year's exercise will simulate a "mass casualty event", such as a train wreck, terrorist event, or plane crash.
We will need volunteers to introduce traffic to the net (simulating a message from a served agency), operators to act as liaisons to the statewide HF net (General license required for this one), liaisons to D-Star network, Net Control operators, etc.
Most of the exercise will take place from home. A limited few operators will operate from the hospital.
